Butis butis, the crazy fish, duckbill sleeper, or upside-down sleeper, is a species of sleeper goby that are native to brackish and freshwater coastal habitats of the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean from the African coast to the islands of Fiji. They prefer well-vegetated waters and can frequently be found in mangrove swamps.

Crazy Fish was founded by a group of five guys who shares a crazy passion for fresh seafood. We decided to take our passion for seafood and provide a fast casual restaurant that promotes sustainability without reducing affordability.

Crazy Fish was such a go-to spot for me back in the day, despite mediocre service. That lack of warm-fuzzy service remains today, although the wife/owner/hostess will squeeze out a smile if you're nice first. She smiles for me, and that's all that matters. And that Kinta roll..... oh that Kinta roll.

Crazy fish is a newer looking place tucked into a larger mini-mall of sorts (isn't that an oxymoron?) You enter and belly up to a counter that is showcasing an assortment of fish and poke in a large refrigerated case.
